Keep your working files local, and let your configured sync client transfer the selected folders between computers. Settings → Files & sync shows the actual application-data and notes locations.

Use a folder arrangement approved by your organization, with access controlled through its storage and sharing policies. Notes, images, and file backups can travel through those existing tools.
- Agree which people and devices should receive the library.
- Keep personal recovery files and agent credentials local.
- Use protected notes or secure note exchange where the workflow calls for them.
See incoming notes without restarting.
With file watching and automatic clean updates enabled, valid incoming changes to the same workspace and note ID update the note in place. A clean open editor refreshes; unsaved drafts and genuine conflicts remain protected.
Review changes that arrive from outside.
Review genuine conflicts using the existing import-copy or keep-current options. The note metadata shows Last updated externally so you can see when this PC received an accepted update.
